HelpDavid.org is now RememberDavid.org

It’s a little late to post a “New Year” message, but we’ve been working on some changes behind the scenes. It’s a new year, and it’s time to begin moving forward, even with tiny baby steps. In light of that, HelpDavid.org is now RememberDavid.org. Amy and her family continue to struggle at times, with lonely quiet nights for Amy, and the smaller kids beginning to miss their dad. Caleb recently asked Amy “When is daddy going to be done in Heaven? I want him to come home.” They’re still working on it, with some of the children beginning counseling and the family working with the younger kids to gain a better understanding about where David is and why he can’t come home. It’s heartbreaking, at times, but other times we get glimpses of the positivity which can come from such a terrible situation. The children have been able to spend a lot of time with their uncles, aunts, papa’s, grandmas, and great-grandma. It’s been an adventure, but one that we know we’re prepared for with God holding us every step of the way.

With the name change to the site, giving opportunities remain the same, with a change to Paypal and Zelle. If you would like to continue to support the family, use support@rememberdavid.org for both services, rather than the previous helpdavid.org email address.

One thing we are guaranteed is that life will always change. Thank you for your continued prayers and support as the family grows with this change, and continues to learn how to cope and move forward without their amazing dad and loving husband at their side.
